I am currently finishing up my fellowship at Code for America and I am thinking about where I want to plant my feet next.
Place is so important to our lives, and yet maps, even satellite imagery, are only simple representation of our experiences. Even still, the mass distribution of this sort of imagery has been very powerful for me and has the same nostalgic value of photographs. I have often gotten lost by exploring places I have been with these technologies.
This is a very short and simple view of my life utilizing Bing's satellite imagery, and put to the tune of The River, the Woods by the outstanding Astronautalis. Enjoy.
Thanks, Alan Palazzolo.
